BEEF STEW - ITALIAN

This is an easy homemade beef stew recipe that's full of amazing flavors. It is made with tender beef and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

2 El oil

500 g goulash - beef cubed, [juciest meat is neck, followed by calves, the rib or off-rib, the shoulder and the top and bottom sides]

500 grams of onions

Salt pepper

2 teaspoon sweet paprika powder

1 Tsp hot paprika powder

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tables


poons flour

150 ml red wine

500 ml beef broth

100 g carrots, cut in discs and pre-blanched

1 Beans white soaked and pre-blached

250 g cherry tomatoes

1 lemon (organic) grated

3 sprigs of rosemary


Preparation

Peel onions and cut into fine strips.

Heat th


e oil in a large saucepan, sear the cubed beef meat from all sides,

Season with salt and pepper.

Add the onions to the meat, roast for 3 minutes and cook covered for 5 minutes.

Remove the lid and let the liquid boil away.

Add the paprika powder and tomato paste and roast for 5 minutes.

Add the flour and roast for 2 minutes while stirring.

Deglaze everything with wine and broth, cover....

r a low heat for 1 hour 30 minutes.

As soon as the


goulash is simmering, peel and coarsely dice the carrots.

Pour the beans through a sieve and let drain.

Wash tomatoes.

Add the vegetables, bring to boil and simmer for about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.


Grate the zest from the lemon and pluck the rosemary from the sprigs.

Season the goulash with it.
